Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026

C Evan Solutions (“C Evan Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides IT services and the C Evan Ops operational software available through cevansolutions.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our website, request services, or authorize C Evan Ops to connect to QuickBooks Online.

Information we collect

We may collect contact and business information that you provide, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, service request, and communications with us. Our website and hosting providers may also process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, security logs, and cookie or session information needed to operate and protect the site.

If an authorized business owner connects QuickBooks Online, Intuit provides authorization identifiers and OAuth tokens that allow C Evan Ops to make the approved requests. The current production connection is read-only. It may retrieve company information, account and reporting data, transaction summaries, tax-readiness information, and related business records needed to provide operational views and alerts. C Evan Ops does not initiate QuickBooks payments, payroll, invoices, journal entries, transfers, or other accounting writes in the current release.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; provide, support, and improve our services; authenticate authorized users; operate the QuickBooks connection; produce owner-requested operational summaries; troubleshoot problems; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain security and audit records; comply with law; and enforce our agreements. We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, and operate the service, including our web-hosting providers and Intuit when you use the QuickBooks connection. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or QuickBooks data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

QuickBooks authorization and control

You choose whether to connect QuickBooks and which Intuit company to authorize. Authorization is limited to the permissions presented by Intuit. You may disconnect from the C Evan Ops owner interface or revoke access through Intuit. When disconnected, C Evan Ops deletes the active stored OAuth connection credentials and stops future QuickBooks access. Limited security, audit, legal, and backup records may remain when reasonably necessary and will no longer be used to access QuickBooks.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the service, maintaining accurate records, resolving disputes, meeting legal obligations, and protecting the service. OAuth access is retained only while the connection remains authorized. Read results and derived summaries may be kept for the operational purpose for which they were requested and removed when no longer needed. Backup copies may persist for a limited period under controlled access before aging out.

To request access, correction, deletion, or disconnection assistance, email contactus@cevansolutions.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant business account before completing a request. Rights vary by jurisdiction, and we will honor applicable law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS in transit, access controls, encrypted storage for QuickBooks tokens, environment-bound connection validation, least-privilege read access, and restricted owner administration. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and users should protect their own accounts, devices, and credentials.

Third-party services

QuickBooks Online and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. This policy does not control how Intuit or another third party processes information in its own systems.

Children

Our business services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to C Evan Solutions at contactus@cevansolutions.com.

QuickBooks Online connection and accounting data

When an authorized business owner connects QuickBooks Online, C. Evan Solutions may access the business accounting data needed to provide private operational and tax-readiness context. The connection uses Intuit OAuth; the owner can disconnect it from the private application.

When the owner explicitly previews and approves an action on a private Client screen, C Evan Ops may create or update a QuickBooks Customer after exact-match and ambiguity checks. This integration does not delete QuickBooks data, initiate payments, move money, submit tax filings, or write bank-feed transactions.

OAuth tokens and accepted accounting snapshots are encrypted server-side. Sanitized operational receipts may retain timestamps, result status, linked entity identifiers, a masked company identifier, a stable request identifier, HTTP status, and an Intuit diagnostic transaction ID. Access tokens, client secrets, complete request payloads, and provider response bodies are not stored in those receipts.

Disconnecting revokes the application grant and stops new access. An authorized customer may request deletion of retained integration data through the contact page. Use of QuickBooks data is also subject to Intuit’s applicable terms and policies.
